The Strategic Arts Education Plan (SAEP) is a declaration of Arts Education goals and priorities for the county as a whole--
creating a basic level of commitment to Arts Education.
Districts are encouraged to create their own plans, to further clarify priorities and practices that reflect their own resources and values. CreateCA has lots of tools on their page to support districts interested in doing this work. A district's SAEP can provide a policy framework for maintaining and expanding Arts Ed. access district-wide, as well as outlining priority areas for allocating Prop. 28 funds.
